Eligibility Criteria (Departmental Only)

This examination is strictly internal. Applications from candidates not currently serving in EPFO will not be entertained.

  • For Lower Division Clerk (LDC):
    • Who can apply: Group ‘C’ employees whose current pay scale is identical to or lower than LDC, and Group ‘D’ employees.
    • Educational Qualification: Must have passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent.
    • Service Condition: Must have completed a minimum of 5 years of regular service in Group ‘D’ / Group ‘C’ isolated cadre.
  • For Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA):
    • Who can apply: Group ‘C’ staff currently working at the Head Office.
    • Educational Qualification: Must have passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent.
    • Service Condition: Must have completed a minimum of 3 years of regular service in Level-1 Pay Matrix (₹18,000–56,900).

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a single-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted by IBPS.

How to Apply for EPFO LDCE 2026

The application process is a two-step procedure. Failure to complete both steps will result in the rejection of the candidature.

  1. Online Registration: Eligible departmental employees must visit the official IBPS registration portal (link provided below) and fill out the online application form between 20-03-2026 and 01-04-2026.
  2. Document Submission: After successfully submitting the online form, download the PDF of the filled application.
  3. Forward to ACC: This printed/digital PDF must be forwarded to your concerned Administrative Controlling Officer (ACC) at the Headquarters, Zonal Office, or other designated authority (e.g., Director, PDUNASS) by 04-04-2026 for verification and counter-signature.
  4. Keep a Copy: Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the submitted application form for future reference and communication.
