For Technician Grade 1 (Signal):
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation; OR
- 3-year Engineering Diploma in relevant discipline; OR

For Technician Grade 3:
- 10th Pass (Matriculation / SSLC) from a recognized board; AND
